Was truly a crazy movie, loved the cast, understood the horrid feeling left in my stomach after. Great Review.

Who else read the title as THe killing of a Scared Dear. I saw this at cannes and got sick after. I have just watched the movie just now, and I really wish the dvd is out in HK so that I could watch it again ! I remember there is a scene where Steven went to Martin house after Martin ride his daughter home. And Martin said, I have only got 10 minutes or I will be late for my Psychology Steven family is affected by hypnosis (subliminal language) then it would be impossible to find out the root through the Medical scans. Also, the constant emphasis on the number 3, gives me a feeling that the killer (Martin) has OCD. And Steven support this theory by say Martin has mental illness.

Feel free to disagree. I didn't get It. A mum would always sacfice herself for her children. She doesn't do that. She's says we can have another child. This film has a limited audience. If you like intense, hard to watch independent style thrillers or dramas high on psychological intensity such as mother! The Shining or The machinist this film might appeal to you. If you want guns, blood, car crashes, babes in bikinis and happy endings you will probably hate this film.
In my view this film is almost perfect, the filming is very reminiscent of Kubrick's The Shining or even Eyes Wide Shut, the acting is disturbing and stilted, but it's supposed to be, and it's done very well.
This film is like the finest Stilton cheese, it's perfect but it's of limited popular appeal.

I wonder if all of Yorgos' movies are connected.

There are many bad reviews and low rates come from people whose are complaining that they did not understand the movie. You don't have to understand every bit of films. Just feel it. Think on it and don't watch too much Marvel films.

The lobster is already online and it is great. If RDJ hadn't been cast as Tony Stark, Farrell would've been a perfect alternative. Best modern depiction of a greek tragedy i've seen. Oh I didn't know that Lobster hasn't been shown there. I feel like I've watched it months ago lol. First yay. He forgot the Sacrade chickens. Cheerleader pom poms in some twisted grim fairytale. I love him. Really disturbing but fascinating film... I'm sooo white ohhhhOOOHHhhh i'm so paleeeeee. Nice breakdown of the movie. I can follow your interpretation clearly and concise.
